Studying the effect of mind mapping strategy on intelligence (Physical - Motor) and learning the effectiveness of discus throwing for students

Abstract

Mind maps are one of the tools for visual thinking and learning. They are one of the cognitive tools that can be used in presenting scientific material. The importance of the research lies in using the mind map strategy and studying its importance in measuring intelligence (physical, motor) and learning the effectiveness of discus throwing for students. The problem of the research lies in conducting a study whose importance lies in making mental maps prepared and drawn on the computer that will be of effective importance in learning the effectiveness of discus throwing and the motor performance of its technical stages, in addition to raising the degrees of bodily-motor intelligence to learn this activity.

 The research aimed to identify the effect of mind maps on changing the degree of the intelligence scale (physical - motor) among the research sample during learning the effectiveness of discus throwing on a sample of students in the second stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Baghdad, and in a random way and using lots, two groups were chosen from them to be The sample for our research was 48 students divided into two sections, each containing 24 students from each section. The researcher relied on the prepared exercises found in the existing educational program applied at the University of Baghdad to learn the effectiveness of discus throwing, while adopting one variable between the experimental and control groups, which is the use of mind maps prepared via the computer, which are transferred in the form of pictures to the phone and sent to all students. The results showed a clear improvement among the experimental research sample in the physical-kinesthetic intelligence scale when compared with the control group, which confirms the effectiveness of mind maps prepared on the computer.etic intelligence, discus throwing
