The thesis aims to identify the level of inconsistency in self-perception among third-year female students in some faculties of physical education and sports sciences and to come up with recommendations that work to prepare guidance programs to reduce the level of inconsistency in self-perception among third-stage female students.
The researchers adopted the descriptive method in a survey style (appropriate to the nature of the research, and the research sample consisted of third-year female students from the universities of the South (Basra - Dhi Qar - Maysan). They were chosen intentionally. The sample for construction and standardization of the self-perception discrepancy scale consisted of (100) female students in the third stage. Third, the researchers used the scale to collect the necessary data to achieve the goal of the research, which is to identify the level of self-perception discrepancy, which consists of (32) items of the scale. The researchers extracted the standard levels for the self-perception discrepancy scale. The researchers also recommended several conclusions, which are:
1- Students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences have an acceptable level of the research variables (the contradiction of self-perception)
2- A high self-perception discrepancy scale was found among third-year female students
