The effect of special strength exercises similar to movement in developing the skill of the meniscus front round kick for young taekwondo players

The problem of the research was that most of the young Taekwondo players suffer from poor skill performance of the front crescent kick, as well as the lack of use of training tools in their exercises, which can have an effective and positive role in the development of most of their skills. The study aimed to:
- Preparing special strength exercises similar to the movement to develop the skill of the front crescent circle kick for young taekwondo players.
The research hypotheses were the most important:
- The existence of significant differences between the pre- and post-test of the experimental research group and in favor of the post-test of the skill of the front meniscus circle kick for young taekwondo players.
As for the areas of research:
It included the human field represented by the players of the Maysan Taekwondo team (youth category), while the spatial field was the specialized school for taekwondo, the youth area, inside the Martyr Saad Khalaf Suef Hall, while the temporal field took the period from 15/10/2023 to 5/5/2024. The researcher used the experimental approach by designing (two equivalent groups) to suit the nature of the research, and identified the research community with young players in Maysan Governorate and their number (20) players, and this research was conducted on a sample that was selected in a deliberate manner consisting of (20) players, "youth category divided into two groups (control and experimental) and by (10) players for each group. The equivalence of the control and experimental groups was ascertained. The researcher used some appropriate means, tools and devices to complete his research. The researcher conducted an exploratory experiment to avoid the obstacles that may face him in the main experiment, then conducted the pre-tests followed by experimental treatment of the experimental group, which included the implementation of special strength exercises similar to movement for a period of (8) weeks by (3) units per week and then conducted post-tests and processing the results statistically, the researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which are:
- The success of the training curriculum in the development of the front meniscus circle kick for the individuals of the research sample.
The researcher recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are:
- Continuous updating of the curricula prepared for the training of our teams and teams in line with the continuous development of taekwondo globally.
