Abstract

The present paper explored the impact of using a small-games-based educational program on enhancing football learning for junior players. The researchers used an experimental approach with a single-group design, randomly selecting 10 junior players from the Hope Academy Football Talent in Basra.. After the program, a post-test was conducted, and the data were analyzed using SPSS Ver. 29. The results revealed that small games are among the most effective modern methods for teaching basic football skills due to their significant role in developing players' abilities and skills, particularly for the 14–16 age group. These games not only developed their abilities but also significantly improved essential skills like dribbling, passing, ball control, and shooting.
